Anyone with stained or discoloured teeth can improve their appearance with tooth whitening.

What causes tooth discolouration?

Coloured food and drink, including red wine, tea and coffee, as well as smoking can stain teeth; whitening aims to reverse this process. Prolonged antibiotics or excessive fluoride may also discolour teeth.

Is whitening safe?

Yes (under supervision of a trained dentist)! Teeth are whitened from the inside, without altering their structure or strength, hence a completely non-invasive procedure. Whitening is generally not recommended for pregnant/lactating women.

At Brookmans Park Dental we offer whitening treatments :

Zoom Advanced Power Whitening - Zoom whitening can lighten teeth by up to 10 shades in one session in the surgery. Higher concentrations of whitening gels are applied to your teeth, under controlled conditions, for 1 hour in the surgery. You will also be provided with some take home whitening trays to enable you to maintain/top up your whitening. Click here to read more

Our Opening Hours

Restricted Opening Times:

To our Patients and Friends of The Brookmans Park Dental Practice,

Our team have been working tirelessly to keep our practice a clean and safe environment for you.

As a Dental Practice, we work in an environment where the prevention of the spread of a whole range of infections is woven into everything we do. In addition to our usual scrupulous cross infection control measures, we have been paying particularly close attention to all government guidance and updates related more specifically to Corona virus.

Given the unprecedented situation in the UK regarding the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus, we feel we must use our own clinical judgement and act in the best interests of our patients and staff.

We feel it is essential that we do our part to reduce the spread of this virus, and so, it is with very heavy hearts, that we have taken to decision to temporarily suspend routine treatments until further notice. We will of course keep you updated with the latest information on our website

Looking after the health of our patients is our absolute priority and so we will be operating an Emergency Telephone Consultation service for our patients who have urgent pain or swelling during this period of closure. If you have a dental emergency, please call us on 01707 644426 or 111 and follow the instructions on the recorded message.

As a team, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue our usual high standard of dental care for you when we return.

Thank you for your support, and stay safe,
The Team at The Brookmans Park Dental Practice
